About this course

Continue after learning Python basics. Build an event-report script one small step at a time. Choose which files it may read, preview the reports it would create, and check CSV or JSON data before calculating totals. Practice a small local API, add command-line options, and test errors. Keep original files unchanged and refuse to overwrite earlier reports.

What you will be able to do

  • Process CSV and JSON data with repeatable scripts.
  • Request and validate data from a documented API.
  • Provide a dry run, useful errors and tests for an automation task.
